A documentary portrait of the friendship between two renowned American filmmakers: James Benning – an experimental filmmaker with a 40-year career, of films such as "One Way Boogie Woogie" (1977), "13 Lakes" (2004) e "RR" (2007) – and Richard Linklater – director of "Before Sunrise" (1995), "Before Sunset" (2004) and "Before Midnight" (2013). The film combines filmed conversations and extensive archival material to explore connections and divergences in their respective approaches to life and cinema.
