Manoel de Oliveira is introduced to the Brazilian public for the first time with his film “Doomed Love”. A feminist Hungarian film, “Angi Vera”, by Pál Gábor, tells the story about the Soviet occupation of East Europe and takes the Public Choice Award. The art on this year’s poster was once again done by Paulo de Andrade.
