She graduated from the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU), where she now teaches in the directing department, and also from the Faculty of Law at Charles University. Her graduation short, “Bába” (2008), won first prize in the Cinéfondation section at the Cannes Film Festival. As a director and screenwriter, she has created several documentary series for Czech Television, including “Four of Us” (2013), “The Magnificent Five” (2018),
and “Hospital on the Front Line” (2020). “Caravan” is her feature-length directorial debut.
