Actor, director and producer, he has received prestigious film and television awards in China, including the Plum Blossom Award in Drama, Flying Sky Award, Golden Eagle Award, Magnolia Award, Golden Rooster Award, Hundred Flowers Award. He has also been honored with the Best Actor award at the Cairo Film Festival and other international accolades. He directed “Intruders” (1993) and “The 601st Phone Call” (2006).
