Born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1988. His graduation thesis short film from the Film School of Tokyo, “After the Night on the Bridge” (2019), was selected and awarded at various film festivals. He also wrote and directed the short film “Far, Far Away” (2022), under the auspices of New Directions in Japanese Cinema, a government-supported program that nurtures young filmmakers. “Brand New Landscape” is his first feature film.
