South Korean director, she made, among others, the short films “Guest” (2011), which was the first Asian film to win the grand prize at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, and “Sprout” (2013), winner of the Crystal Bear award in the Generation Kplus section at the Berlin International Film Festival, and the feature film “The World of Us” (2016), screened the Berlinale and invited to over dozen film festivals worldwide, and “The House of Us” (2019). Yoon Ga-eun explores in her films issues adults often easily overlook or forget, presenting them through the eyes of children in a way that’s simple, yet profound. “The World of Love” is her third feature.
