

A Brazilian artist and creative director based in Portugal. His work explores issues of gender, race, sexuality, class, and LGBTQIA+ migrant experiences. In cinema, he has worked in art direction and costume design for films screened at festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, and Rotterdam, as well as on various music videos. Among the main films he has worked on are “Deus tem AIDS” (2021), winner of best film at the Queer Porto Festival, and “Kbela” (2015), winner of the award for best short film of the African diaspora at the African Movie Academy Awards. “The Passion According to G.H.B.” is his feature directorial debut.
