Born in Iceland, Sölvason is a director, screenwriter, and producer. He grew up in the small fishing town of Bolungarvík, an isolated environment that shaped his storytelling. He has directed, among others, the feature films “Albatross” (2015) and “From Iceland to EDEN” (2019).
