She is an Egyptian-American writer and producer, born and bred in the South Bronx, in New York. A graduate of the NYU Tisch School of the Arts and the Nightingale Bamford School, she produced the films “Cairo 678” (2010), “Clash” (2016), and “Amira” (2021), all of them directed by Mohamed Diab, as well as the series “Moon Knight” (2022). “Happy Birthday” marks her feature directorial debut.
