
She studied cinema in Lisbon and Prague and visual arts in Amsterdam. She is a doctoral student in contemporary art in Coimbra. She is an assistant guest professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Universidade de Lisboa, and has collaborated with several other art and film institutions. She created several video installations, such as “Self Portrait” (2016) and “Ubi Sunt” (2017). Salomé directed documentaries, including the short films “Theatrum Obis Terrarum” (2013) and “The Community” (2012), and the feature films “No Man’s Land” (2012), “Eldorado XXI” (2016, 40th Mostra), and “Extinction” (2018, 42nd Mostra). Her work was presented in film festivals such as Berlin, Locarno, and Buenos Aires, as well as at the FIDMarseille, DocLisboa, Cinéma du Réel, and Visions du Réel, in addition to screenings in museums and art venues.
