
Safira is a director, screenwriter, and photographer from Salvador, Bahia. She directed the documentary short films “Travessia” (2017), “Nascente” (2020), “Alágbedé” (2021), and “Da Pele Prata” (2025). In 2021, she developed the script for the series “Olhares Negros”. She is the screenwriter of the series “Sobrepostas” and “Resíduo,” both broadcast on Canal Brasil, and of the documentary “Mães do Brasil,” which aired on Rede Globo in 2023. “Cais” is her first feature film.
