She studied at the Utrecht School of Arts where she received her bachelor for directing and scenario fiction in 2011. In 2015 she received her master’s degree at the Netherlands Film Academy. Her debut film, “Light as Feathers” (2018), premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and received several awards, in different film festivals, like best feature film and best scenario. With her second feature, “Donkey Days”, Rosanne participated in the Torino Script Lab 2020 and Cannes Cinefondation 2022.
