Born in Seine-Maritime, France, in 1966. Artist and filmmaker, he studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Le Havre. In 1991, after graduating, Creton worked in farms — the experience inspired him to make films about the dynamic between employers and employees and about the relationship between humans and animals. He lives and works in Normandy in the Pays de Caux region and since 2020 he has been working as a freelance gardener for Maison Lambert. In his filmography as a director, there are movies such as “Secteur 545” (2005), presented at the Cannes Film Festival, “Maniquerville” (2009), “Go, Toto!” (2017), awarded at the FIDMarseille, “A Beautiful Summer” (2019), and “A Prince” (2023), which was presented at the 47th Mostra and won the SACD award in the Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes.
