She was born in 1973 in Rio de Janeiro. An artist and researcher, she works with photography, video, cinema, writing, installation, and urban intervention. She has published books and held solo exhibitions in China, Italy, Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina. She directed short films such as “Diários” and “Da Saudade,” which circulated in visual arts exhibitions and art shows. “Itacoatiaras” is her first feature film.
