Boyson was born and raised in Maine, in the United States, he lives and works in New York City. His producing work includes “Frances Ha” (2012) and “Mistress America” (2015, 39th Mostra), by Noah Baumbach, and “Heaven Knows What” (2014) and “Good Time” (2017) by Josh and Benny Safdie, and the series “Chillin Island” (2021). Boyson’s directorial credits include dozens of music videos and commercials and short films like “Power Signal” (2023) which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. “Our Hero, Balthazar” is his first feature film.
