
Noëlle Bastin and Baptiste Bogaert are a Belgian filmmaking duo based in Brussels. Born in 1991, Noëlle grew up in Vitrival. She studied French and Romance languages and literature, and taught French for a few years. Born in Charleroi in 1990, Baptiste studied film writing at Free University of Brussels (ULB) and photography at La Cambre. He worked as a project manager in a government department. Their short and medium-length films have been presented at film festivals such as Rotterdam, FIDMarseille, and Clermont-Ferrand. Their work is marked by formal hybridity and the exploration of contemporary issues, interweaving fiction and documentary, as well as collaboration with non-professional actors. “Vitrival” is their first feature film.
