Actor, screenwriter and director nominated for four Oscars, he wrote and directed films such as “Kicking and Screaming” (1995), “The Squid and the Whale” (2005), screened at the 29th Mostra, “Margot at the Wedding” (2007), “Greenberg” (2010), “Frances Ha” (2012), “While We’re Young” (2014), “Mistress America” (2015), presented at the 39th Mostra, “The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected” (2017), “Marriage Story” (2019, 43rd Mostra) and “White Noise” (2022). He also co-wrote “Barbie” (2023) with Greta Gerwig, and “The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” (2003) and “Fantastic Mr. Fox” (2009, 32nd Mostra) with Wes Anderson.
