Portuguese filmmaker with a PhD in Media Arts, he has taken part in Berlinale Talents, Rotterdam Lab, Locarno Match Me, among others. He is the founder of Guiões – Festival do Roteiro em Língua Portuguesa, Plot – Professional Script Lab, and drama.pt, all dedicated to scriptwriting and narrative development for cinema. He has also participated in the development and production of films in Brazil and Belgium before focusing on his production company, Matiné, in
Portugal. He directed, among others, the short films “Carga” (2017), “Boca Cava Terra” (2022), and “Monte Clérigo” (2023). “Terra Vil” is his first feature film.
