An artist and filmmaker from Tupi, in the province of South Cotabato on the island of Mindanao, in the Philippines, and Rome, in Italy. His works have been presented at numerous international film festivals, like Locarno, and contemporary art venues in Spain, France, Italy and Germany. In 2020, he was selected as one of the young emerging filmmakers of Berlinale Talents at the Berlin International Film Festival. He directed, among others, the medium-length films “Notes From Unknown Maladies” (2017) and “Santelmo” (2022), as well as the documentary feature “On Endings” (2020). “Where the Night Stands Still” is his second feature film.
