They are a filmmaker, musician, and visual artist based in Helsinki, Finland. They directed the short films “Silent as Murderers” (2019) and “The Last Day” (2020), presented at the Helsinki Film Festival and at the IndieLisboa, as well as the midform TV series, “A Strange  Summer” (2022). Beyond filmmaking, Lauri-Matti is the singer- songwriter of the band Musta Valo. “A Light That Never Goes Out” is  their debut feature film.
