Laurent is a self-taught filmmaker and began his career as an editor and cinematographer. Under the pseudonym Elizabeth Vogler, he directed the feature films “Paris Is Us” (2019), shot over four years amid real-life events, and “Roaring 20’s” (2021), made in a single take through Paris, and which was screened at the 45th Mostra and awarded at the Tribeca Film Festival.
