Laura Wandel is a director from Brussels who studied filmmaking at l’Institut des Arts de Diffusion (IAD) in Louvain-la-Neuve, in Belgium. She directed the short films “Walls” (2007) and “O Négatif” (2010), which were selected for several festivals, and the feature film “Playground” (2021), which won the critics’ prize in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival and was also awarded at the BFI London Film Festival. “Adam’s Sake” is her second feature film.
