Born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1978. He dropped out of Waseda University and studied filmmaking at ENBU Seminar. He directed the short films “Coming With My Brother!” (2006) and “Kyojima 3rd St., Sumida City” (2010). He also directed the feature films “The Torture Club” (2014), “Sexual Drive” (2021), presented at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, and “Sunodoroppu” (2024).
