Award-winning Brazilian editor and director with a career marked by projects that combine artistic sensibility and social relevance. She worked as an editor on films by filmmakers such as Lucrecia Martel, Cláudio Assis, Marcelo Gomes, Anna Muylaert, Petra Costa, Fernando Coimbra, Fábio Barreto, Cacá Diegues, and Walter Carvalho. Her first feature film as a director, “Waste Land” (2010, 34th Mostra), was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary. She also directed the documentary “Ritas” (2025), about singer Rita Lee.
