
Branco is a lawyer and filmmaker. He is a graduate is a graduate of the École Normale Supérieure in Paris. In cinema, he explores the boundaries between political commitment and film creation. He has directed several short films, each marked by a distinctive visual style and narrative sensibility. He participated in the development of various notable films, including David Cronenberg’s “Cosmopolis” (2012) and “L’enfant” (2022), by Marguerite de Hillerin and Félix Dutilloy-Liégeois, screened at Mostra. As an international lawyer and political essayist, he has published more than 15 books. “Le Massacre of Gilles de Rais” is his first feature film.
