She is a producer and director who runs Joi Productions, whose filmography includes the feature films “Blue Story” (2019) and “Boxing Day” (2021), the first Christmas film produced in the UK featuring an all-Black cast. In 2016, she directed the television film “Boxx”. Her first short film, “For Love” (2021), premiered at the BFI London Film Festival, where it was nominated for best short, before screening at several international festivals. “Dreamers” is her first feature film.
