He has built a successful career as a producer through his production company, El Viaje Films, in films such as “Dead Slow Ahead” (2015), by Mauro Herce, “White on White” (2019), by Theo Court, “Between Dog and Wolf” (2020, 44th Mostra), directed by Irene Gutiérrez, and “They Carry Death” (2021, 45th Mostra), directed by Samuel M. Delgado and Helena Girón, presented and awarded in film festivals like Venice, Havana, Locarno, Mar del Plata, San Sebastián and DocLisboa. He is also an internationally awarded cinematographer. Jose Alayón debuted in the direction in 2013 with the hybrid feature film “Slimane”.”Dance of the Living” is his second feature film as a director.
