
Director and screenwriter, Short Bull has a deep connection to his homeland, the Badlands of South Dakota, in the USA. He graduated from the Institute of American Indian Arts. He wrote and directed “Lakota Nation vs. United States” (2022), which was screened at the Tribeca Film Festival. He was a fellow of the Sundance Documentary Fund, the documentary program of the Sundance Festival, and was also the first Indigenous filmmaker to be selected for the DOC NYC Shortlist program.
