He is a Korean-Canadian director, actor, producer, and screenwriter who lives in Vancouver. He studied acting at the American Conservatory Theatre, the Beverly Hills Playhouse, and the Vancouver Acting School and made part of the cast of many films and in the television series “The Man in the High Castle” (2015). He directed short films such as “River Boy Blues” (2021). “Mongrels” marks his debut as a feature director and reflects a personal experience for Woo, who moved from Korea to Canada and had to navigate very different cultures, values, philosophies, and beliefs.
