Born in Madrid, Spain, in 1969. Javier Rebollo is a film director, screenwriter, and producer. He studied and worked at Metrópolis Centro de Estudios, and holds a degree in Information Sciences, with a specialization in Image, from the Complutense University of Madrid. In 1996, together with Damián París and Lola Mayo, he founded the production company Lolita Films. He directed the feature films “What I Know About Lola” (2006, 31th Mostra), awarded at the Guadalajara Film Festival, “Woman Without Piano” (2009, 33th Mostra), winner of best director award at the San Sebastián Film Festival, and “The Dead Man and Being Happy” (2012), winner of the critics’ prize also at San Sebastián.
