
An actress, screenwriter, and director born in Berlin. She is trained at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich and studied philosophy in Heidelberg before honing her craft as a director at the University of Hamburg. Among her works are the short film “Alles Anders” (2002), her feature film debut, “The Architect” (2008), presented at the 33rd Mostra and which won the Max Ophüls Award for Best Screenplay, the documentary of Berlin’s iconic building, “The Neue Nationalgalerie” (2017), and “The Audition” (2019), premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and awarded at the San Sebastián and Stockholm film festivals.
