Born in 1988, Imran Perretta is a writer, director, visual artist and composer. His sound and moving image work has been performed and shown internationally and is included in a number of public and private art collections. Among his works are “Ma (2011), “15 Days” (2018) and “The Destructors” (2019), which toured major institutions across the United Kingdom. He was named a Turner Prize Bursary winner in 2020, a Jarman Award nominee in 2019, and was a recipient of the Paul Hamlyn Foundation Artist Award in 2023. “Ish” is his first feature film.
