He is the founder of Lume Filmes and director of the Lume International Film Festival, in São Luís do Maranhão, Brazil. Since 2007, he has been active in film distribution, privileging independent author films. He wrote and directed the medium-length film “Litania da Velha” (1997), the shorts “Infernos” (2006) and “Vela ao Crucificado” (2009), presented at the 33rd Mostra, and feature films such as “The Exercise of Chaos” (2013, 37th Mostra), “O Signo das Tetas” (2015) and “As Órbitas da Água” (2020, 44th Mostra).
