Flavia was born in Brazil but grew up in exile. Moving between documentary and fiction, she has worked in various capacities in both Brazil and France. In 2010, she directed her first feature film, the documentary “Diary, Letters Revolutions”, which was screened at the 34th Mostra and received awards at several film festivals in Brazil and abroad, including Havana and DocLisboa. Her first fiction feature, “Unremember” (2018), was presented at the 42nd Mostra and at the Venice Film Festival.
