They are directors and screenwriters born in Porto Alegre, Brazil. They made the feature films “Seashore” (2015, 39th Mostra), which had its premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival, and “Hard Paint” (2018, 42nd Mostra), their second feature, winner of the Teddy Award and best film of the Panorama section at the Berlinale. They have also directed music videos and television content, such as the miniseries “O Ninho” (2016), released in several countries in Europe and North America. Filipe and Marcio are partners in Avante Filmes, an independent film production company. Marcio is also an actor.
