She is a graduate of Middle East Technical University (METU) Business Administration and Bilgi University’s Film program. She began her career as a producer on films presented in festivals like Berlin, Tokyo, Busan and Montpellier. She directed the short films “Androktones” (2018) and “lll Fortune” (2023), exhibited in museums and film festivals. Emi̇ne teaches screenwriting at Kadir Has Uni and also performs as a stand-up comedian. “Apollon by Day Athena by Night” is her first feature film as director.
