
A screenwriter, director, illustrator and musician, he is a graduate in social communication, postgraduate in computer graphics and master in social policies. Rios is the creative director at Origem Produtora de Conteúdo, an animation and production studio that has produced several animated series and films awarded at major Brazilian festivals dedicated to children’s audiences. In addition to various animated shorts and series, he directed the feature film “My Uncle José” (2021), which was screened at the 45th Mostra. His work has been exhibited and awarded at important animation film festivals worldwide, such as Annecy, Vancouver, Madrid, and Seattle. He is the head of the first Brazilian creative hub entirely dedicated to animation, and also works in script and art direction coordination in other creative hubs.
