An Iranian independent documentary filmmaker, he graduated from the University of Tehran in Film Studies and Cinema Directing. Abdolmaleki is member of the Iranian Cinema Documentary Filmmakers Association. He made the documentary features “The Passion of Mahmoud” (2023), presented at the Shanghai Film Festival, and “Sandman” (2025).
