Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 1988. He graduated in film from PUC-RS. He is a screenwriter and director. He directed short films such as “Waiting Room” (2009), in partnership with Bruno Carboni, “Metrô” (2010) and “Passing Through” (2012). His first feature, “Castanha” (2014, 38th Mostra), premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival and screened in Havana and Buenos Aires film festivals. After that he made “Rifle” (2017) also screened at the Berlinale, and “Continent” (2024, 48th Mostra), presented in the main competition at the Sitges Film Festival. “Future Future” is his fourth feature film.
