Born in 1988 in Kyrgyzstan. He studied theater and cinema at the Kyrgyz State University of Culture and Arts. His works include “A Father’s Will” (2016) and “The Road to Eden” (2020), co-directed with Bakyt Mukul and presented at the 45th Mostra. Dastan is a member of the Asia-Pacific Film Academy and the Union of Film Directors of the Kyrgyz Republic.
