She directed and wrote the documentary series “O Nome Dela È Gal” (2017), about Bahian singer Gal Costa. Her first feature-length film is “Meu Nome É Gal” (2023), which chronicles Gal Costa’s arrival in Rio de Janeiro and the early years of her career. She was named one of Forbes magazine’s 2023 film stars.
