
He is a Swiss-Kenyan filmmaker, writer, and director born in Zurich in 2001. He studied film at SAE from 2016 to 2020 and worked for the commercial production company Filme von Draussen. Throughout his career, Damien has produced a wide range of music videos, plays, commercials, and short films, such as “Blind Soul” (2015) and “Cocoon” (2020). In recent years, he has completed the feature films, “Blind Love for Culture” (2021), “Theo: A Conversation with Honesty” (2022), and “After the Long Rains” (2023), that have screened at major international festivals including Tallinn Black Nights, Rotterdam and BFI London. In 2024, he founded the production company Hauserfilm.
