A queer Black screenwriter and director, with a degree in Audiovisual Studies from USP and in Social Sciences from Unicamp. Her work draws on intersecting identities to create poetic and political narratives, moving between realism and the supernatural. She directed award-winning short films such as “A Felicidade Delas” (2019) and “A Boneca e o Silêncio” (2015). “Sistermaids” is her first feature film.
