
Areeb Zuaiter is a multinational filmmaker based in Washington, D.C. Her work focuses on art, identity, and social issues. She holds an MA in Film and Video from American University. Zuaiter had previously worked at the Associated Press, served as a Fellow at the Smithsonianʼs National Museum of American History, and currently heads the programming department at the Amman International Film Festival. She made, among others, the short films “Stained” (2004) and “Colors of Resistance” (2019), exhibited and awarded in several film festivals. “Yalla Parkour” is her first feature film.
