Born in France in 1970, Antoine Lanciaux is a director, screenwriter and animator. During his studies at École Supérieure des Arts Appliqués de Roubaix( ESAAT), he discovered animated film and made his first films using drawings and paper cuts. Antoine Lanciaux entered Folimage in 1991. After being formed by directors such as M. Dudok de Witt or M. Ocelot, he co-signs the scripts of “Raining Cats and Frogs” (2003) and “Mia and the Migoo” (2008) by Jacques-Rémy Girerd. With Pierre-Luc Granjon, he co-directs “The Four Seasons of Leon” with puppets. He co-signes “Vanille” (2015), a TV special directed by Guillaume Lorin, awarded at Annecy. “The Songbirds’ Secret” is his first feature film entirely made of paper cuts.
