He was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, and studied directing at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB). Koberidze made shorts and documentary films, and “Let the Summer Never Come Again” (2017), his first feature film, which won the Grand Prix at the FIDMarseille. His graduation film and second feature film, “What Do We See When We Look at the Sky?” (2021), was exhibited at the 45th Mostra and won the critics’ prize at the Berlin International Film Festival.
