Born in the Netherlands in 1983. He graduated from the Utrecht School of Arts in 2008, and studied Film Science at the University of Amsterdam. His graduation film, “I Wish I Could Share The Happiness Of Being Alone With Someone Else” (2008), won several awards, as well as his short debut “Wednesdays”, which was released in 2012. After several shorts, including “A Good Life” (2015), he directed episodes for television series. “Goodbye Stranger” (2023), his feature debut, premiered at Rotterdam. “Idyllic” is his second feature film. He also lectures at the Utrecht University of the Arts.
