The everyday lives of the widowers of five samba icons from Rio de Janeiro. Through an invisible work, they have become the guardians of a fundamental part of Brazilian musical history. A documentary which defends a female history of national culture and analyses the thin line between the importance they had on the careers of these samba icons, and how much they gave up on their own dreams to support the dreams of others—a determining issue, up to today, for this generation of women.
