The documentary follows the development of the theater play As Comadres in Brazil, under the supervision of Ariane Mnouchkine, director of Théâtre du Soleil. Twenty actresses, from different backgrounds, gather to live the process of artistic creation of a musical comedy about the female word. The reunion made possible by the theater enables these women to reflect upon their desire and constant effort to overcome the dominant structures in our society, as well as the paradigms of collective work.
