When Ki-woo is recommended by a friend for a well-paying job as a tutor, his family, unemployed and living miserably in a basement, begins to see some hope in the bleak horizon in which they find themselves. Carrying the expectations of all his family, Ki-woo goes to the Parks` house for an interview. This first meeting between the two families starts an unexpected and uncontrollable sequence of problems.
